The studio is fully equipped with midi, analogue capabilities and Digidesign and Sonic Foundry™ software. John is also willing to write on assignment for film studios, TV and video producers, and performing acts. John's music career started with a band called The Norsemen in 1963 playing early rock Ôn roll. That act played in the area dominated by musicians from the famed Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY and many of his early influences came from interactions with these musicians. In 1966, John joined the band The Infinity of Sound which played the music of the Fifth Dimension, Young Rascals and Jefferson Airplane among others. In 1968, he joined The Crystal Revelation which was a hard rock act playing Cream, Hendrix, Stones, Steppenwolf and other favorites of the day. In 1970 the act produced a successful single written by John gaining airplay in the upstate New York markets. That act played until 1973. After that John spent time as a solo act and began serious song writing. A number of the songs in his catalogue were written during this period. In 1976 John hooked up with Bruce Wands creating the very well known act Holy Smoke which was an acoustic duo playing throughout the New York City region, especially in the Hamptons summer scene. While there, they opened for several major acts including Twisted Sister. John also continued his solo act after Holy Smoke, playing many venues through Long Island. John is now very seriously pursuing his songwriting career. "I have finally found the balance between performing and creativity, and between musical genres. My music is taking on a character that I am very proud of and I hope people will continue to listen to it and enjoy it." John is a member of ASCAP and the National Academy of Popular Music.
